Do it Quickly before everyone else figures out the same thing.

I remember a lot of small companies during the dot com boom seemed to exist just to get taken over. A friend was given 2% equity in a firm that was bought by Microsoft for $200m in stock. While she diversified, the MS stock she held is worth about ten times her initial payday. Her daughters don’t have to worry about paying for college.

Fortunately, 5 minutes later I sold my shares at $550.

Time to sell!

The trick is for the insiders to sell as soon as the exchanges and SEC allow, before it returns.
