I spent my grade school years in a village outside of Madison, Wisc., then my Jr High School years, 1964-1967, in Berkeley, CA.!!! For high school, we moved to Wheaton, Ill., land of far right “Christians”. There, I was was labeled a hippy commie druggy whoore. Only the Hippy label was anywhere close to being true. I was OK with that.
