Why finish HS, you can be an uneducated slacker with a diploma

I just finished reading an article in NYTimes about WestVirginia University eliminating its World Languages and creative writing programs – to save money. No indication it will cut administrators.

Hey! Where was the “sleeping in” class. I totally missed out on the slacker curriculum. I could have been a 4.0 student if I didn’t have to go to class.

Lots of us excel at sleeping in, but it’s hard to make a living. Like being an artist

our local college offers “Developmental Education” for students who need to learn what they didn’t learn in high school so they can become an undergraduate.

College, where you learn the art of being exhausted after 8hrs of classes per week.

This strip is often quite amusing but today isn’t one of those days, this whole arc is unfunny.
