My Dachshund gets a treat after going pee outside. Tonight she poked my leg and then went though the doggy door thus making sure I noticed.

With Ralph, it probably is, Wally!

Two traditions!

Thinking about the hereafter: Ralph coming down into the living room thinking: what am I in here after?

With our dogs, their hope was always for food.

You came down because you couldn’t remember why you went upstairs in the first place.

if there is food down there odds are good that is what he is going for

Of course it is.

For the exercise? d;o)

Seriously, though, repeatedly walking up and down the stairs is a good substitute for a walk if the weather is too inclement for one’s regular stroll.

The odds are with you.

I am with Wally as that being the stronger possibility.

I spend my of my day walking around the house for reasons that are lost by the time I get up from where I’m sitting. Sucks getting old and forgetful.
