Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I have a car wash near me where the exit is part of a 4 way stop. Though, the drivers leaving it tend to think that their car is clean, they don’t need to stop for the stop sign.
After a few years of using the same automatic carwash we decided to go with the monthly subscription. The first time we used it after that we heard a THUMP and saw a metal arm that came loose and hit the side of our car. We had someone look at it and document the damage but the company refuses to believe that their machine did that.
A regular drive through car wash here was $7 a year ago. They went to $9, then $12, then they came out with a basic car wash that does even less and the price for it is now $19. All 5 different brands of car washes got together and set these prices. PRICE FIXING!!!
The car wash I go to allows you to stay in the car but if you want the inside vacuumed you do it yourself but it is free with the wash. I actually use the Chemical Guys Waterless Car Wash, it works so long as the car isn’t really filthy.
I have a subscription to the car wash. I can go through twice a day, every day if I want to. The subscription is $27 per month, which is a lot cheaper than to use a wand once a week.

Beats Disneyland pricing, way shorter lines, plus you end up with a clean car…

Just don’t bring dogs with you when going through a car wash. I learned my lesson on that.

I prefer the hand-spray car wash. I get my car perfectly clean for $3. The drive-thru washes are triple that cost.
