I for one, was incensed when they started demanding that politicians hold a SAG card before making any public appearances. That is just too restrictive of free trade, but they found a shadow of a thread in the commerce clause to support it, so now they are stuck with it.
It always amazes me when actors think we should listen to them when they make “important announcements”. Really? Actors/actresses play “Make Believe” for a living.

Hah! Everyone knows we should get our political advice from singers, not actors. Actors are for medical advice.

On the subject of asking actors for advice; here are a couple questions from Hollywood Squares:
Q. If you’re going to make a parachute jump, at least how high should you be?A. Charley Weaver: Three days of steady drinking should do it.
Q. True or False, a pea can last as long as 5,000 years… A. George Gobel: Boy, it sure seems that way sometimes.

Hilarious how those who revere Ronald Redneck and Ahnold Schwarzenneger whine if actors express an opinion different from theirs.

Today’s public figures can no longer write their own speeches or books, and there is some evidence that they can’t read them either.
