It’s amazing how many medicines have the very symptom they are supposed to treat as a side effect. And then they say that pregnant women should not touch them, or look at them, or even be in a 1 km radius of them….
I got into a patch of poison oak a few years ago. Bad enough that my doctor prescribed some cream to clear it up. Contraindications included “may cause itching, swelling and redness.” I already had all that!
Another side effect may be constipation or diarrhea (the fact that they don’t know just what a drug might do to your bowels tells me they don’t know enough about the drug).

Like on ‘Friends’ when Phoebe was given over the counter headache medicine and found out one of the side effects was headaches.

But we’ll give you another pill for that side effect, and another pill for the side effects from that pill. Gotta keep big Pharma happy.
Of course they’ve got their own pills for that.
