In Ottawa they’ve added HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) lanes for cars with multiple passengers. Unfortunately some people think they’re HSV (High Speed Vehicle) lanes.
we have plenty of those here in japan, too. and this morning there was yet another story about an oldster driving the wrong way on the expressway. this kind of thing happens so often these days that there’s actually a specific term for it – 逆走車 (gyakusosha, wrong way vehicle). watch the video here if you dare…
