Is this an old strip? If he was around for the entire history of the Soviet Union (1917-1989) he would have to be more than 100; at least 106, to be exact.
My wife’s grandfther lived to be 104. When he turned 100 the newspaper interviewed him and mentioned all of the above and asked him of all the advances he has seen, what did he consider the greatest advancedment of all? Without missing a beat he replied “Indoor Plumbing!”
The ladies from the local Temperance Society came to visit the old man on his 100th birthday. They asked him to sign a statement, affirming that he owed his longevity to never having taken an alcoholic drink. As he was putting pen to paper, the ladies were startled by a loud commotion from the next room.
“What’s that?” the ladies cried.
“Oh, that’s nothing,” the old man said. “Just my father. Reckon he’s drunk as usual!”
Today it’s exactly 120 years since my father was born. And last month, my wife and I noted the 100th anniversary of her mother’s birth.

What big events lie on our future? Fusion Power? Rise of China and the fall of the US from #1 spot? Mars travel?
