Flask acts so disappointed at losing a cat toy. It’s ok, there should be more by the end of the night.

The captain had no such constraints before And killed off two poor teammates. She can’t kill an anthro? YES, SHE CAN. It has been established in Endtown 1.0 that she has no problems disintegrating an anthro when it suits her purposes. Notice also that what she seems most upset about is, as Three Steps points out, having lost something to play with.

Something tells me she won’t thank him later…

Something tells me this is the last mission that Flask goes on a with Wally

I just love how Wally stays true to his convictions. Way to Go Wally!!! Flask on the other hand needs a lesson in humanity; either that or she lost her humanity and doesn’t miss it.

Maybe Wally and Holly’s report will be enough for Professor Mallard to have Flask removed.

Now she has to carry out the mission with another disgruntled non-combatant. Should be interesting…

We already know Flask has double standards. And she’s a liar. We know she kills anthros arbitrarily, but Wally and Holly don’t, and she’s not going to tell them. There’s an unsaid “…while you’re watching.” She needs them for this mission and if she kills Linda now, she’ll lose them for sure.

Well, she’d be killing an anthro without a ‘record’; that is, one that hadn’t crossed her, or fouled up their job. She’d be killing one just for the fun of it. She may be a cat, but underneath that she’s an anthro herself.

…I’m guessing another mouse(it would even the team out),but a skunk would be cool…

A skunk would be Karma for both Linda and Flask.

Yes, Flask has killed anthros….remember last year, the two interrogator’s she blasted for not finding treason quick enough? Guess killing anthros is okay if Endtown security is directly in danger (i.e. internal spies). Linda on the other hand appears to be deflating in chest (panel 3) and body length (panel 4). Yep, she’s definitely turned into something smaller. I agree with 3HourTour, a skunk would be just fine. I don’t think Flask ever came to terms with being an anthro, She doesn’t find being a live anthro more humane than becoming a potentially dead monster. Maybe Holly should have a talk with with her, as she did with Wally. Although I reckon the “chase me” scene wouldn’t resolve the same. I don’t think Flask has double standards, I think she hates everyone. . . the TSers (human) that she probably once was and can be no more, the monsters that destroy everything, and the andros who she can’t deal with being one of. She has no place no matter what she does.

From the size.. I’m gunning for mouse, just because she was about to put a mouse into brain removal herself. Karmic retribution and all.

I’m guessing she’ll be a super cute kitty cat and she’ll make Holly jealous.

Well the result is about Wally sized. Could be his species, though the odds are against any one outcome. No prominent ears on top, at least none that deform the head gear.

A Wally style fem cat who would need emotional support would be interesting, as it might form some kind of emotional triangle.

Apparently Flask was aware that, if Linda’s unconscious (or semi-conscious), she’ll keep her mind. Or if she’s surprised by this new information, Flask certainly isn’t showing it.Also, if Wally shot Flask, he might be out of luck when it comes to taking out the rocket. I’m not so sure he can finish the mission without her. But I don’t see it being completely beyond him to stun her in the end if he absolutely has to. Don’t know if it’ll come down to it, but you never know. ;)

I know that Linda will be a nuevo-anthro but… she’s well aware of the types of awful things the TSers do to anthros. I think with scare tactic arm-twisting from Flask, gentle persuasion & practical reasoning, from Wally, and feeling the genuine heartfelt caring concern from Holly that she MIGHT decide its in her best interest to help them on their mission. She didn’t want to die as a TSer. I doubt she will be eager to do so as an anthro. Think about it, yes. Do it, no.

I hadn’t thought how the mutating would affect her mind. Will ?she still have her memories

As I said, another player in the mix…hey maybe she will be a tamandua! Watch for signs of the mask elongating!

Nice to see Wally go toe to toe verbally with Flask and see her be the one to back down. I wonder if part of the decision to do this was driven by guilt that he didn’t do anything to stop Flask from killing “Sandy”. Looks to me like our boy has got his feet (er, paws) under him in a big way.

In Panel 3 Flask says it all. Given an opportunity-if it were possible- she would revert back to human and become a topsider once again. (Good thing she didn’t know about the miraculous flower, but I bet she’s on the lookout for one now she knows that one did exist) She considers her current state a living hell – If it wasn’t for the possibility of obtaining revenge, she would perfer death. Flask HATES those who have what she has lost and can’t obtain.

With cats and mice already in the mix, can a dog be far away?
