Here we go, time for the big reveal. Can’t shake the feeling that Allgood’s about to buy the farm, whatever is on the other side of the door is welcoming him in, and obvious has no fear of him or that firearm.

Better have a good explanation for that if it is, last I checked a city fell on him.

Hopefully Albert will avoid getting a bullet to the brainpan, since it seems he’s of the minority vote.

oooohhh! I sometimes really dislike Fridays!

Question is, did somebody figure out how to stack the HC, or did they figure out how to take out the HC and replace the people on it. Since the rats are going along with this I suspect the former.

It could be Lindaized topsiders who are still dedicated to the cause. After mutating they could have decided the best thing they could do would be to take down Endtown from the inside.

What’s interesting to me is that Allgood actually does know (or thinks he does) who is on the council. Either the plan had been to seed the HD with specific Society members, or Velda told him who was being picked each time. If these are people he is familiar with, then he’d know if Velda was lying, in that if she said “person A” is now on the HC and Allgood saw A walking on the street the next day, there’d be a problem. Either Velda would have to hide A away somewhere, or send him on a one-way foraging trip Topside. What this means is that if the HC was supposed to be seeded with specific people, and they actually made it onto the Council, then we don’t have the “person behind the curtain” situation. If Velda is pulling an “Oz”, then the people she says are on the council are either dead or secreted off in a hidey hole elsewhere.If all 10 council members belong to Velda, then they’re either really weak, Allgood is really angry, or he’s lying to himself about his chances against them.Another question – if the 10 HC members are rotated out monthly, and it’s been 3 weeks since Al left, there should have been notices sent to another 7-8 people before and during the Milk Trial. Either Velda has killed the selection process, or people are still being picked but are being turned away by security.

Its a troupe of retired “flea” circus performers.I have noticed this about the Council. They use “fatso” a lot.So they are either really super fit or suffer from small person syndrome. Probably a group of “dikdiks” little antelope partial to Africa. A group of Chihuahuas??OMG……….MUNCHKINS????Rogue Keebler Elves rather militant after their tree got cut down while building Endtown (Lumber usage).They are not the ones known to him. He has been had by Velda. In the immortal words of General Akbar “It’s a trap!”At least he did not fall down the hole Walter came up.

Am I the only one to wonder why the rats didn’t fire on Allgood? He’s never fired it yet, but I’m going to guess it is either filled with blanks or is empty and all the other rats know it. The one rat in the courtroom with the gun being the only one armed and they all knew it was unloaded to prevent any deaths, even accidental ones from happening.

I vote he will meet himself. A sort of Luke Skywalker in the dream cave type senario.

If the people chosen to be on the High Council don’t actually get the memo and don’t report for duty, how’s the public to know? Velda or whoever could have been picking names and not filling the rooms, except for a few like Al to make it look legit. Because the names are supposed to be secret, no one Bottomside is likely to check up on them. Allgood’s been told who the people are, but he’s been told wrong by Velda before.

I’m still gonna say Sparkplug… however, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Velda lounged in the Supreme HC Throne with a Voice Synthesizer and her FDR cigarette holder.

That gun can be set on automatic, can’t it? Maybe Allgood can’t get all of the High Council, but maybe he can get enough of them…
