Who puts cement/plaster statues of geese on their front stoop?

I know I’ve walked by a house that has about 10 statues of geese in their front yard. They don’t dress them up, though.

♫ Put another log on the fire.
Cook me up some bacon and some beans.
And go out to the car and change the tyre.
Wash my socks and sew my old blue jeans.
Come on, baby, you can fill my pipe,
And then go fetch my slippers.
And boil me up another pot of tea.
Then put another log on the fire, babe,
And come and tell me why you’re leaving me. ♪

70 years ago, my mother wasn’t a sharp shooter, but she was a “housewife” , and while my dad might have chopped off the head of a chicken, my mother had the job of “dressing” it… and I don’t mean "stuffing it with breadcrumb stuffing! I remember being young and her giving my brother and me a “biology” lesson of the various things in a chicken… NOW I don’t even like cutting apart a “cleaned” chicken (into various parts like legs and thighs, etc.).. and will only buy chicken parts! It seems to separate me a little from the idea of eating a poor chicken!
