I took in a 2-year-old leased car that had electrical issues and acted like it was going to blow up in my face. I drove out with an upgraded, brand-new car for less money than I was paying per month for the problem car. That’s good service! (I also had very low mileage, and I am sure they made a lot of money off the problem car once they fixed it.)

Have you seen the labor rates posted at the shops? Ask the mechanics which ones are making $100/hr to $150/hr.
