My daughter with significant disabilities can mostly walk, talk, and see. Her needs are far less than those of a child whose condition is terminal or who cannot do any self care. But she still has needs, and it’s OK if I feel overwhelmed by that sometimes. Just because someone else has it worse, does not mean I have no struggles at all.
