For boys today maybe the covered in tatttoos Lil’Wayne would bother some parents today. ICP (Insane Clown Posse) would be one that would bother me. As for girls I think Lady Gaga or Miley Cyrus would be good to freak parents out.
I just looked at the Speed Bump reference: cute. Husband stumbled over this last night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6Lb3kFwJRQ “Captain Kirk watches Miley Cyrus performance”: hilarious.
Lynn’s Notes:One of my favourite props was a punk-rocker “wig” which I gave to the accordionist, Ray Johnson, of the Newfoundland comedy team, “Buddy Whatsis Name and the Other Fellas.” After attending a show, I realized that one skit needed a punk-wig, so I offered it as a gift. It was a gift that keeps on giving. I got to know these talented and fabulously funny guys — just a bit. I get a card from Wayne Chalk (guitarist) every Christmas, and some day, I’ve promised myself that I’ll go to see them live on stage in St. Johns.

I’d rather have a punk rocker costume than a “ho” costume.

This strip first ran IN the 1980s, so it’s appropriate. Nice try, though!

Halloween would be easy if your colors were like my dream, red, gold, and green, red, black and orange……..

I guess that would depend on how much they receive in royalties.

How about George Michael? Partly the same name.

That’s different. Socially, Boy George didn’t equate to punk rock.
