it seems now days that every one is worried about having or not having boyfriends or girlfriends at such an early age now. and then we wonder why there are so many children born out of wedlock. good grief.
My troubles with women began in the first grade, when I got sent to the principal’s office, for holding hands with the little girl across the aisle. I guess that the nun wanted to nip my growing romance in the bud !Funny thing, all these years later, I still remember that girl’s name.
Lynn’s Notes:I confess I had a crush on a boy in grade two. His name was Jimmy Thompson and I still remember his smile.-So it appears it happens in real life too.
I had a huge crush on my 3rd grade teacher. Her surname was the same as my given name, but that’s all I’m going to say.( I don’t want to make her husband jealous after all)
Sorry to say, I see Third Grade girls developing breasts. I intercepted a note from a Fourth Grade boy asking a Fourth Grade Girl to have sex; her reply was to ask for pot. We’ve had Sixth Grade girls get pregnant. In Sixth Grade, I was still playing with paper dolls. For non USAns, add 5 years to the grade level for the student’s age.
Well, here’s the thing comicsssfan. While some people like myself for instance, understand your comedic shtick for what it is,others see it as an attack on themselves, like school teachers,or women,or motherhood,or whatever you decide to rail against on any given day.if you evoke a sence of outrage in a person is that truly harmless? I think not.
I started noticing girls when I was in first grade and liked them ever since. Attraction for the opposite sex is normal and there is nothing perverted about it.

As if second graders have already hit puberty. (Was this what Lawrence’s stepsisters were like themselves when in grade two?)

You’ll be a teenager soon enough, Elizabeth, and in college you’ll shack up with one of them “boys”.

As a male I always had girlfriends from 1st grade and up. I never went in for that ‘cooties’ BS.

As a boy, I can tell you I fell in love with a girl in third grade. Her name was Adele. I was devastated when we moved away.

I guess I was a late bloomer. My first crush was as a sophomore in high school.
