Lynn’s notes:My first mom-in-law, Louise Franks, loved to play bingo. She was good at it, too, and could keep track of eight or more cards at a time. One night, she invited me to come along. Her advice to me as we entered the hall was, “Don’t win. Nobody likes a first night winner.” I guess her popularity, and mine, would be tarnished if I did!

Oooh, did the troll ever get a hit on his bait! Let them rant. They are hurting no one and responding just encourages them.

This strip has its ups and downs – just like life. Just like in mid-July when Mike learned a lesson in manners. Will he learn? (Bet he don’t!)

The troll has only made three comments in a year — all negative.

Isn’t this strip just repeats now?

I recall the cutthroat Bingo games when I worked at the Assisted Living Community. You’d be surprised how animated the ladies would get if “the wrong person” won. It would become an aerobic exercise session.

Bingo is a game of chance. If a newcomer has the probability to get five daubs in a row, what are they supposed to do, lie about winning?

Many years ago, before I was born, my grandmother took my father to bingo. My father won the jackpot. She had to start swinging her purse around to prevent him from being lynched by about a hundred old ladies

Jackpot night is a really big deal! There’s gonna be a lot of good luck charms on the tables tonight.

Went on a camping trip with some buddies many years ago up in Maine. There was a church nearby having a bingo night. We decided to give it a try and had a blast!
