Roger: If you peel back the felt, you can see the crack goes across the entire base. I can get a little excited when I yell checkmate, and it's possible I slammed it down too hard. Either that or my wife throws these things at me harder than I thought. I could try to repair it with glue, but I think replacing the piece is probably warranted in this case. Any chance you have this model in stock? It's a Tourneypro II, medium weight. Jason: I told you they wouldn't. Roger: It was worth a try, ok?!
Looks like the pawn shop owner has a pacifier in his mouth. So, Roger seems to think a “TourneyPro II” chess set will make him a better player, the way he thinks a better golf club will make him a better golfer. Next, I suppose, he will take up photography so he can spend ever more money hoping a better camera will make him a better photographer in the same way great pots will make you a better chef.
