    Kids who needed glasses before school are often klutzes because they never had a chance to develop hand-eye coordination until after some of those synapses had already hardened in non-agile ways. I tell myself, peering through my coke-bottle bottoms.

    Even my cheers wouldn’t encourage him to be more sporty. Yes, other times we like to cheer-lead, despite the fact we don’t cheer for a football or basketball team.
