I make periodic trips to my dermatologist to have this, that or the other thing removed. Back in the 1950s sunshine was good for kids. Mom was pretty good about keeping us in shirts in the early summer, and allowed us to “tan up” gradually but we occasionally did get burned. I had rather dark skin by the time summer was over.
I told my dermatologist that I was exposed to large doses or thermonuclear radiation in the 1950s.
