My husband & I like Jar-Jar, but only because he reminds us of a friend of ours, who – without irony – spoke almost exactly like him!

I never understood the hate for Jar Jar.

Wow, I need to go out and buy some lottery tickets! What are the odds that all four of the world’s Jar Jar fans would post in the same comics comments section on the same day?!

Jar Jar was a silly character added to the movies to attract younger moviegoers. He represents the dumbing-down of the Star Wars franchise. He doesn’t bother me, that much. I’m just reporting what I have heard others say. Also, I recently heard that there are people who hate the Ewoks just as much as Jar Jar. Amazing.

I can’t say that I really liked Jar Jar, but I didn’t dislike him, nor did I understand why some folks were so passionate about hating him.

Jar-jar got the lines C3PO would have had.
