Let’s just say that it’s so big that it reaaly should have nuclear propulsion.

They’re calling it Icarus II.

Big enough to try to carry Jason through the air I’m afraid.

Jason is about to learn that all things do not scale up linearly.

My maternal grandfather would build kites out of newspaper, and fly them so high you couldn’t see them.

I wonder if he’s computed the force required to fly such a kite, and consequently the force required to hold it? (I’m thinking not)

The classified section in just about any newspaper nowadays (in the last decade or so) is typically only one page. Pretty small kite.

I suggest they move their kite to a nice empty beach with a prevailing wind. I saw some massive kites over the years near my mom’s beach house.

As long as they use a different method than Ol’ Chuck, they’ll be fine.
