Awful movie that didn’t remotely live up to the hype.

If Jason and Marcus can get one thousandth of that, that’s pretty good.

So Paige is the witch? What a surprise.

I remember a few things about that movie.

I didn’t think it was that bad, but don’t really recall it in detail. Never bothered with the sequel.

A friend was convinced that it was actually “found footage” as in the premise, and it took a while to unconvince him.

Seeing it in the theater, at the end of the film, another viewer stood up and said "what a load of %&#!!@!! (or words to that effect).

One of the most unrealistic aspect of the movie was the camera battery that wouldn’t die.

I’ve heard of it but never watched it. Was the movie any good?

They almost got me, but I grew up in Maryland and knew every urban legend :)

That was quite a one-hit wonder of a movie, wasn’t it?

NO.

I get so tired of this little punk dissing his sister. I know it’s a running gag in this strip, but it annoys the bejeebus out of me.

Surely Paige is a cute witch.

This was back when any one could make a cheap Horror movie and it might blow up big. Just look at the first Fridays the 13th, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser and any other movie that was made on the cheap before getting bout up and turned into a cookie cutter horror franchise.

At the rate they’re going, Jason and Marcus’s movie is going to have a similar ending.
