Thanks, Mom, but we’d rather have regurgitated worm chunks.

Mom was a good cook, but a boring cook. She had the same 5 meals that she cooked the same way over an over again.

Mom was the queen of processed foods which I loved back then. My wife is a “foodie” so at least on occasion, she can get pretty creative.

I’d try curry loaf. It’s not like it’s beet loaf.

I guess it says something good about your cooking when your son’s ask for the recipes of things you used to cook for them!! The daughters-in-law might not be happy about it, but they are probably cooking stuff THEIR mother made for them, which is different from what mine ate as kids!… the funniest story about cooking for a husband, was how a friend tried all kinds of recipes for spaghetti sauce.. but none of them was up to what her husband’s mother made… so one day she broke down and asked her mom-in-law how she did it… and her Mom-in-law laughed!!!.. she said she used to open a can of condensed tomato soup, put in a little coffee to cut the sweetness and pour it over spaghetti!

What the heck is a curry loaf? I’m sure it is disgusting, since Andy made it.
