Mister Musk doesnāt look ready to agree with you.It could end both ways for a kid genius like Jason. Either would he became a brillant engineer that every firm and university will fight for or some frustrated math teacher harassed by pupils and parents.
The trick is to be so good at what you do that your bosses donāt mess with you.
Most of my career, I worked for smaller companies that can afford to have only one person that does what I do. My bosses have a vague idea of what it is I do, but not a clue as to how I do it.
I am now at the stage where I intimidate some of my bosses. They realize I have about 20 yearās worth of management experience more than they.
They know that all they have to do is tell me what they need done and get out of my way. They also know that I am smart enough to ask for help when I donāt understand something. Iāve been in the workforce so long, that I donāt have an ego to build and protect.

But you are someoneās subordinate, Jason: your parentsā youngest child and your siblingsā youngest sibling. Always have been, always will be.
