If I remember correctly, several years ago a bill was passed by congress to allow chicken processing houses to send whole chickens, after defeathering and gutting, frozen to china for processing. China would then send the chicken back here as “processed chicken parts”, commonly referred to as nuggets and wings to be sole in restaurants.
