To this day I’ve only ever seen the first Star Trek movie and whichever sequel showed Spock riding a 20th century bus while wearing some kind of monk robes.
Hey, Chekov – a young Walter Koenig – showed up on the Alfred Hitchcock Hour last night! He played a juvenile delinquent gang leader who attempts to kill a young James Caan (in his pre-Ghost days!) Caan is a writer who goes undercover to join the gang to do research for book.
Caan was 24 at the time and looks a little old to pass for a juvenile delinquent, but Koenig (who was 27 or 28) has such a baby-face that he looked the part!

I distinctly not remember Chekov wearing corrective lenses.

Why are all the nerds Hobbit sized?

Apparently nerdy boys are half the height of girls of the same age in this universe.

Probably girls make nerdy boys feel small…..
