My younger daughter was in a production of Schoolhouse Rock Live. Along with being in the chorus & a dancer, she got to yell, “Hooray! I’m for the other team!” which fits her personality to a T.
“A noun is a person, place, or thing” “Interjection shows excitement, or emotion they’re generally set apart from a sentence by an exclamation point or by a comma if the feeling isn’t strong.” Sure, I’m showing my age generation, but we really had some great stuff back then. Thanks Bill for the trip down Memory Lane.
This must have gone out of style just before I was old enough to learn it. I never learned that song!! But I hear it mentioned often… in comedy shows, comic stripts etc. I honestly wish I HAD learned it! I love language in general and this would have been a fun little song. That said, who else knows the “Fifty Nifty United States” song? Still know it verbatim. :D

If you ask my daughter for a state capital, she has to sing the whole Animaniacs song.

He DID use normal words. In a catchy tune and easy way to remember. Schoolhouse Rock is a timeless classic.

Well of course Paige didn’t understand it, it wasn’t on a screen, she would have to actually pay attention to the words to understand the meaning.
