The doctrine of infallibility when speaking ex cathedra from the chair was not defined until 1870.
Since then, it has been invoked exactly once. That was when Pius XII identified the Assumption of Mary to be an article of the faith. In this sense, it is thought of as the only exercise of Papal Infallibility in at least the last 150 years.
The notion of infallibility had existed long before. Speaking historically, there are other Papal teachings that are presently regarded as ex cathedra pronouncements though they were promulgated before the doctrine was defined.

Did he sit in St Peter’s chair when he ate St Peter’s fish?

That must be the “ex cathedra” chair the Church mentions for Papal infallibility- from the 1870’s, I think.

The word that refers to the boat is usually spelled “barque.” “The barque of Peter” is a metaphor for “The Catholic Church.”
