Frank: The boss's mistakes make more work for everybody else in the office, so he calls himself a "job creator".
I had a boss who would think up jobs for me on the spur of the moment, prompting my “line-of-sight” rule: avoid his line-of-sight and avoid the jobs. Later, I discovered that ignoring these jobs held no repercussions. Apparently he forgot about them almost as soon as he “thought” them up!
