What we have here is security theater, not real security. In actual tests by US government investigators, 95% of the contraband they tried to smuggle thru various TSA checkpoints went undetected. But you can bet they notice your shoes and shampoo!

How ’bout 50 to a 100 thousand a day boycott flying ? Some trips are real necessity but how many can be put off after extended no-fly days ? Many complain about the process and its failings and yet hop right on for that next flight. Vote with your wallet !
