Don’t some monkeys have red rear ends?

Thank you, Master! As a non-native English speaker I had never heard that one and was scratching my head.

Interesting, a similar expression appears in some Native American works.

Where I come from (southern england) it’s more commonly “Red sky at night, shepherd’s delight, red sky in the morning, shepherd’s warning.”

Or the version I use… “Red sky at night… The Barn’s alight.”

Why detention for asking a question??? My uncle told me as a kid, that I asked too many questions. So I don’t ask questions.

I’ve heard him described as “a Mac kid in a Wintel school” by more than one person who thought that was a slam against him— and that when he learned to fit all would be right with the world.

No, because with budget concerns one of the first things to go is the gifted student programs…

Davepostmp: Not all gifted students. The divergent/ independent thinker type always gets the short end; on the other hand, the kinesthetically gifted (athletes) get away with anything; other types at various stages in the middle.

The way they walk is great. Some cartoons don’t do walking very good. but these guys really scream "walking along here!

So – Red sky at night (sunset) suggests that tomorrow will be dry with steady winds

Red sky at morning (sunrise) suggests you should expect rain, accompanied by gusting winds.

I guess that made sense to somebody…

Nah, nothing to do with a “red light” district, as delightful as some sailors might find that to be.

You’d think she would learn by now that she needs to be more specific when she asks that question. :-s
