Miss Plainwell: In the old days, this is how they put out fires. Boy without bucket: By making a skating rink out of the old tennis court? Boy with green hat: No wonder all the buildings are newer looking.
Regarding freezing at 40 (F) - a meteorologist friend tried this on his honeymoon in Banff, Alberta, expecting it to freeze before it hit the ground.
Epic fail, because he used COLD water. (No, I didn’t have a clue, and would have used cold water too!)
Oddly, it only works with HOT water.
