Frazz by Jef Mallett for June 22, 2014
Transcript:
Caulfield: Why do old people drive so slow? Don't they realize time is closing in, that whatever moment they're crawling to is irreplaceable? Has life gotten so routine that there's no rush to get to the same old thing? Has time compressed such that the turtle's plod feels like the cheetah's sprint? Mrs. Olsen: I'm not listening, Caulfield. Miss Plainwell: Did you see what I saw on my way in? Frazz: Mrs. Olsen and the cop? Caulfield: She was listening!
But she was driving to work!!! Why hurry???
