When I was writing, I ran into ’Writer’s Block’ from time to time. Finally discovered that when I began writing down my frustrations about the block it faded quicker than if I just verbalized it.

Again from my book of anecdotes: an actress once told Alfred Hitchcock that she couldn’t film the current scene because she could not find the proper motivation to act it out. Hitchcock listened politely, and told her, “…then fake it.”
