Amazing Moment !

A Grandma that listened to your begging all year.

That’s not a Grandma’s job. Their job is to smother you in love… and grant immediate wishes from time to time aka spoil you… but only during a visit.

Knowing Caulfield, he could have meant that either way. He’d be happy to get the gifts, or he’s happy that he could give Grandma a laugh.

Now you have a grandma who’s going to get you whatever pleases her. You reap what you sow.

Every time I hear about someone coming up with a Christmas list with a dozen items on it, I reflect on O. Henry’s 1905 short story “The Gift of the Magi” — tinyurl.Com/y43wz9uv — and I think of the list that I’d give to my wife if she ever wanted one: “just you”.

Grandma will want a less fresh grandchild.

I interpreted it the other way around: “What could be a better gift to get, than to make my grandmother laugh?”
