Stuff it, whiney! I got your “panic butt-on” right here!

And now for something completely different:

FB: I had that very Buck Rogers Atomic Pistol when I was a kid. But it didn’t work properly, and I never was able to disintegrate any of my intended targets….

Thanks for the link to “Night Caller From Outer Spoace,” Theresa. It’s an SF film I’d never even heard of until now. That “aliens abduct Earth women” plot was old even then, but they pulled it off.

If you want a funny twist on the abduction plot, there’s a 1958 B-movie called “Terror From the Year 5000.” This time it’s a mutated future woman who’s abducting men for breeding purposes. Well, one man, and she really overestimates him.

I see that today’s panicked woman is nothing more than an inflatable doll pilfered from a xxx shop in the suburbs.

What a bummer. One should not have to waste a good panic. But those darned buttons have been known to wander off at the worst possible moment!

I remember seeing “Daddy-O” on Mystery Science Theater 3000. I don’t remember Gloria Victor, but I’m guessing she was the only redeeming feature of the movie.

The show must go on! It’s all about roadies and FOH guys..

Don’t Panic, Just Hit the Button!Part of what makes live performances so exciting is that you never know what’s going to happen. This is doubly true if you’re the performer. Be prepared to shut your mic off or send it backstage in an instant, when you’re plugged into the Panic Button from Pro Co. Whenever anything goes wrong, the Panic Button lets you get the attention of your roadie, the FOH guy, or other essential personnel, without your request going over the main sound system. By connecting your vocal mic to both the FOH system and an alternate location, you can toggle between the locations you want to send your voice, which means the crowd will never hear you asking for more monitors! Want an instant mute button? Don’t connect anything to output B, and you can kill your mic with a toe tap. The show must go on, and the Panic Button lets it go on without the crowd knowing you even had a problem!

I loved Get Smart. Sigfried was great. When I die, I want my unofficial biography to be entitled “Missed it by that much, chief!” On the last page, the reader will be told that it’s time to panic now.
