I’ve run a few marathons and never gotten so much as a blister running one. No black toenails ever either. Somebody was doing something wrong in those blog pics.
The “Blitzmadels an die Front” picture is from a 1958 West German B-grade movie. (Two things give it away: the caption is typical of a movie poster, and the eagle isn’t a Nazi symbol—their birds always had ruler-straight wings. Postwar Germany outlawed Nazi symbols, primarily out of fear of a Nazi resurgence.)
Just to be clear, that is a low level silverware fetish, not a fetish involving the silverware of young people; not that there is anything wrong that….
Re: FB1: We go together like Anita’s left and right. (When did cleavage come to mean pushed together instead of split apart?)2. Inspection:Ladies, see what good posture can do for you.3.Impaled: I see Vlady’s been busy.
Regarding FEEL THE LOVE on the blog: About half-way through the first paragraph I felt really sorry for this person. That kind of vitriol comes from someone who is seriously frustrated- by something entirely unrelated.
What is here is art. Well illustrated by some lines from today’s C&H: ‘Fine art is dead… nobody understands it. Nobody likes it… Mass market commercial art is the future.’
We go together like … Pork and Beans … Mac and Cheese … Big and Small … Lean and Fat … Bullets and Guns … Teddy and Bear … Front and Back … Top and Bottom … Inside and Out … Stop and Start … Table and Chair … Door and Knob … Ice and Cube …
Re Polio: I had it in 1956. I spent the summer in the hospital. I had had two of the three shots before I came down with the disease. It was scary. My legs didn’t want to work, and then my hands became very weak.

We comment on the strip, the blog, each other, the weather, and all sorts of things. What is wrong with that?

Why am I the only one here? Was there a quarantine outside, or was that just hearsay?

“Cartoons & Heresy”. That just has to be a title of something. A book, a movie, a blog …

I love the eyes of the top lady on FEMALE DEVIATIONS AND LESBIAN PRACTICES. Not sure if they’re creepy or just intense.
And Frog Applause was probably delayed for Cartoon Heresy.

Frog Applause cartoonage ( and the most lame-ily of Frog Blog most enticing) is my favorite form of heresy

I commented on today’s FA on yesterday’s Comments. Does this make me some kind of heretic, primed for the stake?

Re: “Yes, We Feel The Love!”
As a critic the “cheater” email author is a dilettante. Even JAD could come up with a good “Backwoods Redneck Trash” zinger every now and then.
