Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be

Eventually, even winter in Froglandia doesn’t last forever, though. Even while the snow is still on the ground and ice fishing is the number one thing to do for entertainment, there is the movement toward the coming summer. People start catching up with distant summertime friends, planning vacations, dreaming of long days spent by the swamps or mowing lawns. Travel agents stir from hibernation to plan winter getaways for late February and March. Froglandia Post begins delivering seeds and gardening implements and summer apparel that will be returned four times before the right size and color are finally received. The joy and warmth of Froglandian winter starts to fade. But it’s never truly gone. It will be back. And next winter will be even better than this one.
Just checking in. Timmy is fine; I’ve hidden him in an old dry well and am pretending not to be able to find him. His humans are distraught! Haven’t had so much fun since we were together in the Old Days!
On I related note, I like collies. I blame it on the combination of Albert Payson Terhune (still have about eight of his books) and the friendly collie from the neighbor’s across the street when I was just eight years old (that would be in a former century)….

And here’s Lassie, without opposable thumbs. (apologies to The Far Side and Gary Larson)

On closer examination, the dog looks more like Rin-Tin-Tin than Lassie. If you catch my drift.
