I was astounded to have my child tell me “no big deal” was now interpreted as sarcastic and means a really big deal. How can people communicate when they just make up alternate meanings for common existing words?
LOL … one of 94 new words added to the OED this June … check it out … and yeah, I counted ‘em ‘cause I’m lame and have a severe case of Froglandian “topophilia” …!
