Scrambble is the free form version of Scrabble, as we sometimes played it. We made up words that would fit together however needed with the letter tiles we had. We even marked new tiles as we went along. Scores were usually into the hundreds. It was all very contubrious!
Orlop would be a good last name for a character in a Hammer Film Productions B movie horror film starring Peter Cushing – Professor Orlop or Dr. Orlop or Count Orlop, or, better yet, Captain Orlop.

I prefer jackanapery to jackknifery. That double K is hard to take.

Never a cross word between them.
