I always find it’s easy to write the title page, the dedication, and the preface or introduction. It’s the rest of the dámn book that’s so difficult!

Lame Paused in the entryway, taking in the situation. He walked past the reception desk, sparing a smile and a nod to Ms. Waterlily. Then, to the office of ZZZ, the head of Froglandia Intelligence and Espionage. “You’re late, Lame,” said ZZZ, scowling just a bit. “You moved the building again,” Lame replied. It was true. The Department of Secrets changed locations often. “Next time, go where you are least expected, and you won’t get lost. That’s what we all do.” There was no arguing with ZZZ. Lame didn’t bother to try. “Okay. I’ll try that next time. What’s the story?”
