Although he passed more than twenty years ago, my father helped make me the person I am today, and for that I thank him.

Dad’s tend to have a herding instinct, even though we want to be seen as a lone wolf. Protect the pack.

This is one Father’s Day message I feel good reading. I mostly have to skip them, unless the message is for Father God, for some he’s abstract. He can still be a comfort for the broken hearted even if as an abstract construct, as for people in AA. They call God their Higher Power. Peoples messages usually just hurt. Sorry for the negativity.
