because today’s smartphones can do a lot of things like play games, take pictures, access the Internet, check the weather, and because smartPhones are lighter to carry than a laptop or desktop computer. not to mention that a smartPhone has a touchpad that you can control with your finger. Even so, some apps such as Instagram or Angry Birds only work on a smartPhone. that’s why it’s very addicting.

So many comments from portable electronics nay-sayers. It reminds me of a person who is offered a magic lamp that when rubbed will offer a solution to any problem, knowledge and wisdom, entertainment and friends, and help that can simplify one’s life in a million ways. And the person says, “No thanks, I don’t need a lantern because the sun is out.”

It’s common knowledge, but I’m going to say it anyway.

This comic is unbelievably boring.

The answer to Jon’s question is because everyone’s much more comfortable inside the digital world because we all want to escape from harsh reality of the analogous real world such as pollution, poverty, crime and natural disasters. That was the whole point of the movie The Matrix. Humans are inclined to escape pain and trouble, they don’t want to stay in Wonderland and follow the rabbit.

The Google can be of use for anything.
