I like the way Garfield thinks.

Last Tuesday was the Fourth of July and several readers commented on it and wished one another a Happy Independence Day. I commented, “Happy Independence Day to all Americans from here in the UK” and someone replied that its good that we British and Americans are now close friends. I certainly agree with that and it was brought home to me yesterday when I watched TV news footage of President Biden officially meeting our new king Charles III and our Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

hell, even in a GOOD mood, who am i to resist a donut!

My mood would never be bad enough for a donut the same size as me. I would be too worn out carrying it, to remember what I was mad about.

My favorite donuts would have to be the mini cinnamon donuts, the mini powdered donuts, the ones with chocolate frosting and sprinkles, and especially the raspberry-filled donuts.

I would be really intrigued by that massive chocolate donut if I wasn’t watching my weight.

Have you seen the price for 6 Krispy Kreme (standard sized) Doughnuts. Can you imagine the cost of 6 Garfield sized Doughnuts? You could not even move the box without a fork lift.
