Garfield is reminding me of my ex-girlfriend. I was speeding her to her doctor’s visit when I drove the truck into another car. Everything was fine, just a scratch. No, really, just a scratch. From that my ex deduced that I totalled the truck and gave her back and shoulder pain. So she sued. It looks like she might get around $6000, after lawyer commissions. I guess she’ll be able to fix her truck and pay the electric bill, assuming she doesn’t blow it all, partying.
It seems to be the practice around here to sue city departments for some perceived injustice regardless of whether there is tangible proof. The difference between a criminal trial and civil one is that in a criminal trial, a jury verdict must be unanimous. It’s the search for more money!

Three things seem to take longer than anything else: Waiting for Christmas, waiting for the last day of school and waiting for the pizza to arrive.

They could easily check how close the delivery guy is if they ordered from Grubhub or Doordash.

Pizza shops gave up the 30 minute delivery guarantee years ago. What’s your problem?
