“The Prisoner” was the sequel to “Danger Man” in which Patrick MacGoohan was given the number Six in place of a name — like the lyric. (This also brought forth the prolific GoComics commenter of the same name, er, number!)
I wondered which name to use. I see the song was only used in the American version — did not know that.
