Will Rufus & Joel replace that bridge again?? LOL

This is great! The last few days have been really funny!

Yes, the fellow deserves a drink, but unfortunately Joel & Rufus left the jug on the other side. Joel of course has earned himself a deep swig from the jug too for all his hard work and success in getting them across. The railroad fellows should by Joel a fifth on this side of the bridge, perhaps a nice bourbon that would go well with his pipe.

Instead of rebuilding a the rickety bridge, why don’t they just build a road following the contours of the ravine, steep as it is? Or will that deprive future arcs of another story?

Don’t worry Rufus and Joel will rebuild the bridge. I guarantee it.

Yeah, they’ll rebuild it “as was” because that rickety bridge is as much a part of Gasoline Alley as the cluttered closet was a part of Fibber McGee & Molly.

We knew they would get across okay, and they will continue to do so at least until the final day of this strip. I hope that day will never come.
