I guess Walt lives out in the country these days. Does anyone remember when he moved from the home he had with Phyllis for many years in the alley? I cannot remember the move away from his friends.

Wonder if that’s Oor Wullie? Walt seems to attract old comics characters, and, well, . . .

Some years ago I worked for a businessman who had European partners. Most from Scotland, some from Ireland. I picked them up at the airport and drove them to their hotels. The Irishman and I had a lovely conversation about Hibernia. Later a Scot asked me if I understood the Irishman, as they can be hard to understand clearly. I replied that I could understand him perfectly. In my thoughts I said, it’s you that I can no understand, lassie.
