Can’t wait to see who brought Jones to see Santa. All he wants for Christmas are his two original parents.

Slightly behind deadline, but it’s a full update for the 21st – Skeezix just enjoying a summer as a nine-year old boy in 1930 Chicago, unaware of any great fortune that may await him in the years to come.

Shady Lane runs into trouble while trying to report the theft of most of his herd of cattle, while Brenda finds a 1948 Santa who probably isn’t as kind-hearted and generous as Edmund Gwenn’s “Kris Kringle” from a movie that was released around 18 months before this storyline ran… and we look in on Ambrose Wicker, who’s not even thinking about a woman for a change.

Jones wants to enter the real estate business!

I must say that Joel is doing an EXCELLENT job even with the trials and tribulations of being required (wrongly) to be sans pipe. My hope is at the end of his work with the kids, he may find a gift of a new pipe from the real Santa waiting for him.
